Camp Evangel

Camp Evangel is owned and operated by Southern Highland Evangel, Inc. and provides these opportunities:

  • Teen Camps & Retreats
  • Junior Camps & Retreats
  • Men's Retreats
  • Ladies' Retreats
  • Day Camps
  • Church Functions

The camp is set on 90 acres in Pounding Mill, VA tucked in a valley between two mountains. The facilities available are:

  • Chapel
  • Kitchen / Dining Hall
  • Recreation Building
  • Staff House: housing similar to a rustic motel
  • Cabins: 2 boys' cabins and 3 girls' cabins each has a separate washhouse
  • Pool & Water Slide
  • Go-Carts & Track
  • Ball Field & Much More

The Goal of Camp Evangel is to reach and encourage souls for Christ. You can help with this goal by serving for one of the many camps or retreats.
